Stuk voor stuk kleine juweeltjes.
Samenvatting
Wait, What? is the story of how Lize messed up, but came back. It’s English poetry with her own twist. She hopes it will inspire someone else, like others inspired her. The message she wants to give to that person is: don’t care what they say. If they say you should give up or you can’t do something, prove them wrong. She won’t lie. It will be hard, but you can do it. She tried it aswell and the result of this is what you’re holding in your hand. She's curious what those people would have to say to her now.
Over de auteur
Lize van Walraven (2004) lives in Zeist with her parents and her little sister. When she was six she already wanted to be a writer and illustrator. Writing became an outlet after she was bullied in elementary school. Sometimes she writes from own experiences, but doesn't want to be specific about which stories are true. That's the interesting part of writing. Making something beautiful out of something so simple.

Inkijk
So I’m the monster now? I’m only what you made me.
What you see before you is the result of how you treated me. You ripped my heart out and smashed it apart against the wall. You dared to say you cared and then left me behind in pieces. When you said I was yours I thought it was so precious, but a couple moments later you tossed me away.
I didn’t need you to think of me as weak only for the purpose of using me.
You didn’t even take your time to glue me back together. You left me all in ruins. But what does it matter, because they all leave eventually.
Some people say you shouldn’t fear a monster, because they were all humans once. No, you should fear the ones who turned them into monsters. So I should fear you.
