Samenvatting

Sophie created this poetry bundle for you, on your path to getting to know your inner self.
She takes you along into her world, her heart and her mind. Though Rays to distance the dark is so much more than just an accumulation of words; it marks the beginning of a journey through thoughts. After each poem, the reader is invited to answer a question or fulfill an assignment that is closely tied to self-discovery and self-reflection. Sophie inspires the reader in a vulnerable way, giving the chance to freely interpret her words.

Inkijk

As I live my life imperfectly,
I stumble upon myself,
I fall over my thoughts,
To a point where I drop myself.

As life continues imperfectly,
Rays of clarity provide view,
Upon what couldn’t be seen before,
Gifting the opportunity to create,
From deep within my mind.

Even the rays are imperfect.

Though as long as they guide,
As long as they bring light,
As long as they shape and shine,
Then their function just might,
Be enough to inspire, all will be fine.

Maybe more perfectly than before.
