Samenvatting
Every year in the Netherlands alone, 5 percent of teens 12-18 year old are diagnosed with depression. That’s only the part that’s diagnosed; there are so many more that go without therapy or treatment. If you look at an average school with 1000 students, that’s at least 50 students. This book is for those 50 students: to show that there is always a light, even when it’s wrapped in a cloth of darkness.
Little spy eye is a depression journey. It begins in the dark and slowly it becomes lighter and lighter, until you stare into the sun and catch yourself thinking: ‘huh this is actually pretty nice’. Congrats, you’re in the light.

Inkijk
bliss
lying on the ground
smiling at the sky above
wasting all the time
what a bliss
hearing nothing but the birds
feeling nothing but the air
lying on the ground, lying on the ground
remembering life’s charm
the birds, the flowers, the trees
thinking of places most aren’t able to see
feeling the sun
breathing the wind
observing the water
touching the earth
what a bliss, what a joy
hearing little whispers through the silence
not comprehending a single word
of what these little voices say
but feeling all of the intention
of what is being said
“I know the feeling”.
