Inkijk
"But why granddad? We are safe too", the boy said. "Now we are safe, my son, but every few decades the world comes into a sort of negative spiral, which might be caused by nature or better the universe. The energy in the universe is what they used to call God or Allah. And they all worshipped their God. They even did have big houses to meet and pray", the old man continued. "What is praying?", the little boy asked. "A way of meditation and thinking of good and bad. Thinking of what does feel right and wrong", the old man said.
"Like we do at school nowadays in mediation class?", the boy asked.
The old man said: "Yes, more or less like that. But with one big difference, you are now allowed to think and feel what you want. Because the people needed a Third World War which took many lives around the world to discover that we are all equal and all want peace. They discovered that religion and science have taught people a lot of good things, but it also created borders in the way people started thinking. It created differences which couldn’t be overcome only by talking. People needed pain and grief to find out that differences do not exist in nature. Just balance like the wind teaches you when it is looking for the balance in pressure. At the end of the Third World War nobody did win. The only thing what happened was, that respect came back because the people learned to survive by the advantages of the differences of another culture, other food, other way of looking at subjects."
