Inkijk

It's the year 2121, Earth and her population has changed.
The Maya predicted the end of the world at the end of 2012, scientists said the Maya calendar was miscalculated by many years, but the end of life as men knew still made its start that same year. On the twenty first of December that year, the Moon, slowly and barely noticeable, started to move further away out of it's orbit around Earth, and in the following century, it changed, weakened, the currents of the seas. Because of that, most of the United Kingdom got flooded as did most of the west coast countries of Europe. Spain, Portugal, half of France, Belgium, the Netherlands and most of Scandinavia got wiped away by giant tsunamis created by deep sea earthquakes Mother Earth released upon humanity. Thousands of people died but millions moved further east.

Allot of species got extinct, and scientists discovered, that Mother Earth, was dying.
The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (N.A.S.A.) requested all remaining countries, to combine their knowledge, resources and finances, to realize space travel to the maximum of ability, so human kind could explore the universe, in search for a new home. Thus the G.A.S.A (Global Alliance of Space Agencies) was born. Inspired by science fiction series and movies, young specialists started to work on their dreams. Doctor Gabriel Guillermo D'Cardi and Doctor Jonathan Blank were the most promising scientists of all.

In one word 'Amazing'!

I read through these pages like it was a movie I wanted to watch over and over.
It was a great experience and I would highly recommend this book to everyone. Even if you are not that in to sci-fi, I wasn't either.

This story is about two scientists, Doctor Gabriel Guillermo D'Cardi and Doctor Jonathan Blank that takes place in the year 2121. The doctors are each others best friend and have a history a together that goes way back. When they start this journey through space, the unexpected awaits them.
They come across strange, but danger events that will change their lives and that of human kind.

I like the way this book is written like a journal. This creates a bit of realism to the story.
Its a nerve-racking, exciting and beautiful story.

When I finished the book, some scientific questions remained about some discoveries that were done. It really made me thinking.
Since this story is to be continued and written like a journal, I suppose this will be explained in the writers next book.

At last, this book has some misspellings, which I hardly noticed because this intergalactic story really caught my attention.
