Inkijk

When I die, the world will go on. The earth will keep turning, the sun will keep shining, rain will continue to fall. Businesses will rise and fall, people will be born healthy and die from old age. Diseases will ruin countries and medicine will save it. Heroes will be born and superstars will die.
The people who will be missed are those who accomplished something in their lives. People like me don’t matter. If we die, some people will shed some tears, but after a while they will forget. If a star dies, a whole country cries for years and even remembers him centuries after his death.
People who commit suicide are not important. We get a little attention in the media, saying we need help, they can’t help us.
People all around the world are looking for a cure for cancer. I’m happy they are trying to get rid of this awful disease, but no one is looking for a cure for depression.
