Over de auteur
"My name is Megan Janszen and I am fifteen years old. I am from the Netherlands and I have been writing short stories from the moment I could write. My love for fiction and fantasy stories inspired me to write my own story and brought me where I am today. Although I am Dutch, the English language is the language that ables me to really express myself. This book is very dear to me and I am very proud of it!"

Inkijk
Melrose sprang up from her chair. "Wh-what," she stammered. "But I’m incapable of handling such a responsibility, Guildmaster!"
Chii nudged her sister’s side with her elbow. "You weren’t taught swords fighting for nothing, idiot. You should grab a chance like this!" she then yelled. "It might be the last time you may be offered such an opportunity!"
"But I’m…"
"You’re going to take on the rightful name of Agent Melrose!" Chii shouted, completely interrupting her twin sister. "Because you were the one brave enough to take on Despair in the first place! You should do it, because you can!"
Melrose was taken aback a little by this sudden pep talk and went quiet for a minute. She then sighed, nodded and gave a quick smile. "All right then. Guildmaster, you can count on me!" she uttered with a hint of determination in her voice.
Andrew clapped his large paws for a second and smiled. "Wonderful," he spoke. "Chii, I’d like to recruit you as well. I’m positive you have enough skills to help out in the field."
Chii’s smile turned into an even bigger grin. "Are you serious!" she exclaimed in joy, beginning to tremble all over.
"Pull yourself together, Chii," Melrose snickered. It was funny to see the foxling freak out over such a thing.
"I am glad you both decided to cooperate with me," Andrew stated with an approving smile. "I will introduce you to your colleagues as soon as possible. For now, it’s of the utmost importance that we commence with your training, Melrose," he said calmly. He seemed capable and obviously knew what he was talking about. That gave both Melrose and Chii feelings of comfort and joy; this would be the place for them.
