Een van de beste boeken ooit. Super mooi geschreven en gevoelens uitgedrukt door ze op papier te zetten. Fascinerend!

Over de auteur
Nathalie Korthuis (2000) was born and raised in a small town in the Netherlands. She was always fascinated by creativity no matter in which form it came. When her mental health came crashing down, she was desperate to find a way to relieve the pain without damaging herself even more. That's when her love for writing and reading came to life. It was just an innocent hobby of hers. Until 2015, when she received the UNICEF children's rights price with one of her short stories, after participating in the biggest national writing competition at that time.

‘How did you manage to keep going for so long?’
‘The harsh truth about depression is that you don’t end it by ending your life, you just pass it on. Knowing how deeply it sucked to be in this state all the time while feeling sad, tired, anxious and simply not good enough - I knew for a fact that I didn’t wish this upon my worst enemy and that I would never forgive myself if I passed it onto the people I love.’
