Elin Cornelis is a twenty-one-year-old woman. She lives in Utrecht with her cat, Twinkle.
Elin uses writing as her coping mechanism for all of her emotions, the good, the bad and everything in between.
From age seventeen to age twenty, Elin found herself in a toxic relationship.
For most of this time, she lived with her then-boyfriend.
She was introduced to manipulation, gaslighting, infidelity and even violence.
After a particularly bad night, she finally found the strength to leave him.
Elin filled countless notebooks with her thoughts in the aftermath, using writing as a way to process her feelings.
However, still dealing with the hurt and trauma she had endured, she was determined to find happiness not just on her own, but within herself as well.
