When a Classical scholar goes to the fontes in the New Testament, the Greek and Roman writings and inscriptions, and the works of the early Christians, the result is exciting and new. Where, when and why did Paul write his letters? This book does not give only dates without explanation, but all the texts to see how to get the dates and to judge for yourself what is right. What about Paul's travels after what can be read in the book of Acts? There were a fifth and a sixth travel.

Over de auteur

Arie Dirkzwager (°1945) lives in Flanders. He studied the Classics at the Free University in Amsterdam. His doctoral thesis was a geographical and historical commentary on the description of the Roman Provincia Narbonensis by the Greek geographer Strabo.

He was a teacher of Greek, Latin, Ancient History, Religion, German and Geography in the Netherlands and in Flanders. At the Evangelical Theological Faculty in Leuven-Heverlee he taught Exegesis of the New Testament and Hermeneutics. He ended his career as a school inspector.
